Maddie turns 8 months old

Maddie turned 8 months old this week. She is getting around. I won't say crawling because she isn't in a full fledged crawl yet. She can get herself anywhere she wants and quickly if you lay anything down she isn't supposed to have, like the phone or computer. She also sits at my bookshelves thinking of all the ways she will pull the books off one by one when she gets just a little bit bigger. I can see her mind working! Her big accomplishment is that she can say momma. She says it all the time now so Rachael finally got to hear her. How exciting. She skipped the dadada stage all together.
We celebrated the day with petite fores from Peggy Ann Bakery. OK, so maybe we were just looking for an excuse to buy some of those fabulous pastries!!
