Fun Run

I took Lydia to the Autumn Chase Fun Run last night. I staked out my spot so I could get an excellent shot of her crossing the finish line with her time in the picture. Just as she crossed the finish line these goof balls stepped right in front of me!! Can you hear me screaming from there? Well I certainly felt like it. They eventually moved and I did get a picture of her walking in. (it's not the same though). She picked up her T-shirt they were giving to the runners and we were ready to leave. About half way to the car, which was still a good 150 feet away, we saw a huge wall of rain heading towards us. It was already at the track club so we knew we had very little time. We dashed to the car but within seconds we were caught in a downpour. We were totally soaked by the time we got to the car. So I have no pictures of the event or of her with her t-shirt and ribbon like I usually do ;-( In case you are wondering, she is right next to the girl in pink shorts. I think her time is very close to what it was last year.
