Our friend Pat Williams was in town this week promoting her new business and we were fortunate enough to have her company for dinner last night. Pat is an avid
crafter so she and the girls were immediate kindred spirits. After dinner, she brought in a craft to do with the children. Nothing she had planned, just a few things she had in her car. You know you are a die-hard
crafter when you just happen to have to random craft supplies lying around in your car. :-)

They started with pictures cut out from magazines, an Easter egg, and a bottle cap.

Then they used decoupage to add the cut-outs to the eggs.

Everyone busy working on their projects. William was even working on his own project, taking his
ipod apart and replacing the screen.

And here are the finished creations. They painted a little triple thick glaze on them once they were finished to give them a nice shiny look. It was a fun project.
Pat was so sweet to give the children her time and we had a nice visit while they worked on their projects. She will be back in April and I'm hoping she will bring some of her
miniatures to show the children. She makes the most creative settings, all in
miniature form.
